“BRIDGE” Training Course, 29/05-06/06/2026, in Spiazzo Italy
I really enjoyed being part of this training course and I really enjoyed the balance of reflection, inclusion and practical activities. The trainers were truly amazing and created this welcoming, safe space where everyone was free to express their ideas and participate without being judged. They also helped us out with practical stuff outside of the project and reassured us. I also valued the focus on visual and digital tools, the balance with nature too, and harmony, as It’s a really important thing to consider when dealing with digital tools. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would highly recommend supporting more projects like this one that support creativity, inclusion and international cooperation!

I had the opportunity to take part in the “BRIDGE” training course in Spiazzo, a quiet mountain village in Italy that offered an ideal setting for learning and creativity. The natural environment made the journey both productive and inspiring. This experience went far beyond a simple educational program for me. It pushed me to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone and collaborate with people from different countries and work on creative projects while developing new skills and discovering innovative tools. During the training, we used non-formal education methods and explored graphic design tools through hands-on activities. The program included interactive sessions, teamwork, group discussions, and collaborative projects that encouraged active participation and idea sharing. The structure of the course created a dynamic and engaging atmosphere. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to UNESCO Serres for this opportunity, as well as to the hosting organization Oriel in Italy for their excellent coordination, warm hospitality, and continuous support throughout the program.

From May 29 to June 5, 2026, I participated in the training course “BRIDGE,” which took place in Spiazzo, Italy—a beautiful village near Verona, overlooking Lake Garda and surrounded by a peaceful, natural, and inspiring environment. The programme aimed to provide us with non-formal education tools combined with graphic design methods and digital tools, enabling us, as youth workers and people involved in the youth field, to design more creative, participatory, and engaging activities. For me, “BRIDGE” was an important learning and personal development experience. It gave me the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, try new methods, gain knowledge, and deepen my understanding of a field that particularly interests me. I would like to warmly thank UNESCO Serres for the opportunity to participate, and the Italian organisation Oriel for their hospitality, organisation, and dedication.
